प्रसिद्ध साहित्यकार
डॉ . श्यामबहादुर वर्मा
बहुमुखी प्रतिभाशाली , अनेक विषयों के विद्वान् और विचारक डॉ . श्याम बहादुर वर्मा का जन्म 10 अप्रैल , 1932 को हुआ । वे दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय के पी . जी . डी . ए . वी . ( सांध्य ) कॉलेज में हिंदी के वरिष्ठ प्राध्यापक रहे । उन्होंने विविध भाषाओं तथा ज्ञान - विज्ञान की अनेकानेक शाखाओं का गहन अध्ययन किया । उन्होंने वर्ष 1953 में हिमालय को पैदल पार कर तिब्बत की यात्रा की । वे | ' केंद्र भारती ' मासिक के संपादक तथा भारतीय अनुशीलन परिषद् के निदेशक रहे । उनकी प्रमुख रचनाएँ हैं - ' बृहत् विश्व सूक्ति कोश ' , ' आधुनिक हिंदी शब्दकोश ' , ' श्री अरविंद साहित्य दर्शन ' , ' हमारे सांस्कृतिक प्रतीक ' , ' भारत का संविधान ' , ' मर्यादा - पुरुषोत्तम श्रीराम ' , ' राष्ट्रनिर्माता स्वामी विवेकानंद ' आदि । 20 नवंबर , 2009 को उनका निधन हो गया ।

Dr. Shyam Bahadur Verma,
versatile genius, scholar and thinker of many disciplines, Dr. Shyam Bahadur Verma was born on 10 April 1932. He is the P.A. of Delhi University. G. D. a . V. (Sandhya) was a senior professor of Hindi in the college. He studied various languages and many branches of knowledge science. In 1953, he crossed the Himalayas on foot and traveled to Tibet. They | He was the editor of the 'Kendra Bharati' monthly and the director of the Council of India. His major works are - 'Brihat Vishv Sukti Kosh', 'Modern Hindi Dictionary', 'Sri Aurobindo Sahitya Darshan', 'Our Cultural Symbols', 'Constitution of India', 'Maryada - Purushottam Shriram', 'Rashtramanmata Swami Vivekananda' etc. . He died on November 20, 2009.
